The Human Trafficking and Transnational Organized Crime Section (HTTOC) is fighting to end human trafficking in the State of Texas through aggressive criminal prosecution and civil actions to hold offenders accountable. Our section also aims to raise public awareness about the threat Human Trafficking presents to our state by providing training, educating lawmakers and partnering with community stakeholders.

National Center for Missing & Exploited Children

NCMEC provides training, case management, clearinghouse resources, analytical support, family and peer support, and recovery services assistance on reports involving child sex trafficking.

Office on Trafficking in Persons

The Office on Trafficking in Persons (OTIP) operates under the values of the Administration of Children and Families and the Federal Strategic Action Plan on Services for Victims of Human Trafficking in the United States. Our mission is to combat human trafficking by supporting and leading systems that prevent trafficking through public awareness and protect victims through identification and assistance, helping them re-build their lives and become self-sufficient.

Polaris

Founded in 2002, Polaris is named for the North Star, which people held in slavery in the United States used as a guide to navigate their way to freedom. Today we are filling in the roadmap for that journey and lighting the path ahead.
