C7 Human Trafficking Coalition (formerly known as Denton County Human Trafficking Coalition) formed in December of 2015 for the sole purpose to come together to fight the growing epidemic of sex trafficking in our area.  The coalition is the "backbone" to promote education and awareness of this modern day slave trade in the North Texas region consisting of Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Grayson, Tarrant, and Wise counties.  This region rests on the edge of the Texas Triangle with I-35 running right through this area. Sex trafficking is apparent in our hotels and motels along the interstate as well as our local superstores, fast food restaurants and gas stations. C7HTC is dedicated to working together for prevention, rescue and restoration of those affected by the sex slave industry.  This is a collaborative effort between local church ministries, agencies, non-profits and law enforcement to find a solution to eradicating trafficking in our area, city and state.  C7HTC is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization and all donations are tax deductible.

Sex Trafficking is a $32 Billion Dollar Industry

The State of Texas is 2nd, behind California, for the most reported cases of sex trafficking in our nation.  The average age for a child to be trafficked is between 12-14.  One third of runaways will be approached by a pimp within 48 hours of being on the street.  Sex trafficking affects all races, religions and socio economic backgrounds. Sex trafficking does not discriminate, it endangers each one of us.
